Angamardana needs no fitness equipment. It uses only the body and can be practiced anywhere, even during travel. All you need is a 6ft x 6ft space It is a great preparation for the body for hatha yoga
I got mobility just by learning how to do Angamardana. It’s shocking how quick it works in dormant places. I would definitely recommend doing it twice if you’re able as they suggest. My posture has gotten better, I have more range of motion. Once you get over the initial soreness it’s great.
I noticed that it works every muscle, ligament & tendon in the body. Even the ones I didn’t know existed! I feel fitter & toned inside out for sure. I feel I have gained the strength back in my extremities and core.
The session was a great experience I’ve experienced the course again after 3 years and this brought back not only memories of the longer course but what is needed on a daily basis. Hope to attend more of these sessions again and more follow up courses.
